Lacey's First "Real" Word?

I have decided not to count the mamas and the dadas that she has been saying because those are derived from the basic sounds she has made since she started babbling. But I think I can honestly say that her very first, real, intentional word is... drum roll please... BEAR! Everytime she sees one of her stuffed animals, she points and says Bow! (As in "take a bow"). It's so very sweet coming out as a high-pitched little squeek of a word. She is so girly about it. She has so many bears in her collection that nearly everything she picks up is, in fact, a bear. But she also calls her froggie "bear" also.

In addition to her word, she is also mimicking animal sounds now. She meows for a cat, and quacks for a duck. She has trouble of Ruff Ruff for a puppy so she puffs air out of her mouth instead. But it's intentional and you know that's the sound she's aiming for. I'm going to try to get it all on video. It's so cute!
