Being Productive

I am feeling very good about all the projects I have on my plate both at work and at home. This may be due to Matt's "normal" schedule again that has allowed him to be home most evenings this week and is expected to be home this weekend as well. I have been able to get so much done on my own in the evenings. And I have projects I intend to complete over the weekend as well. At work, things have slowed down enough to where I can actually get some work DONE as opposed to continuously adding to the project list. So I guess with actually being productive this week, it has restored a sense of control and accomplishment again. I feel much more relaxed about it even though there is a lot left to be done yet.

In Lacey news: We got her into the pool one evening last week and she was FINALLY enjoying herself. Of course, after the heat wave we had, the water was a nice warm 90 degrees and I am sure that had everything to do with it. But I was glad she finally had a good time with it and I hope that the next time will be as fun. In fact, she was upset that we had to get out. Maybe we can all go for a dip again this weekend. Also, we turned her crib against the adjacent wall last night to see what her reaction would be and she was completely fine with it. So I figure we'll just make little baby step changes to her room and let her get used to it. There's no rush anyway...there are a few months left before Nathan would need to use the space.

It's weird to say his name. Especially since there is no physical attachment to it. It's just a name right now.
