A Year of Firsts

It's so cute, I can hardly stand it! Your daycare gave me a permission slip for you to go trick-or-treating in the neighboring shopping center on Halloween! I am so excited for your first Halloween. Naturally, you will be a pumpkin, since that is what we call you all the time. I wish I could go with you but I have to work. Afterwards, I will take you on our street if you are not too sleepy. Daddy wants to try and be there also. He's working on Halloween but hopes to take off early. I plan to take you to a pumpkin patch this weekend and take a hayride. It should make for some very sweet pictures.

It has been a whole year of firsts for you. Your first trip to an amusement park, your first plane ride, your first Easter, first fireworks display...too many to list. But the big ones are yet to come! Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and your BIRTHDAY. There are some big things coming in these next few months and I am very excited for you.
