The way the cookie crumbles...

Isn't it interesting. Matt is applying at the same company that my nanny used to work at for 17 years. They called him one hour after he left the interview at the staffing agency yesterday to offer him a second interview with a company representative. It's today at 3:30. If he gets the job, Miss Kitty has already committed to working all 5 days a week (assuming it's a dayshift job) and scheduling her housecleaning job around it since I would then be her primary source of income. So it would all fall into place. I hope he gets it. It would be a 5 day a week job and all weekends off. A much more normal schedule and a much more normal life. Thus creating a more recognizable routine and pace for the kids too.
