Sorry I've been missing in action again. There just doesn't seem to be much to post about right now. Lacey was sick Thursday - Saturday and so we'd been taking care of her. Aside from the conundrum of what to do after Baby Boy is born, there's not much else my brain can take on thinking about at any given time. HA HA! Picking a name for this poor kid is proving difficult. The stupid books are SO overwhelming and most of the names in it are ridiculous! I am NOT naming my child Deshawn or Deondre or any gangsta-rapper name like that. It makes me mad and frustrated so I can only take small doses of name-reading at a time.
Mother's Day was spent waiting in line at Friendly Farm for 2 HOURS! Yes, my inlaws must be insane for agreeing to wait that long for a table. I left the house at 215 and got home a little after 6. Lacey was a trooper though for having missed her afternoon nap. This morning at daycare, they gave me the present she made. It is a flower that all the kids planted by themselves with a picture of her holding her flower attached to it. It is so GREAT. I love it. I brought it to work to show off. And Matt brought home a small planter with miniture roses in it. It was very thoughtful of him.
Getting Lacey to eat is becoming a bit of a problem. I'm not sure if it is just remnants of being sick and having no appetite or what, but she's become WAY picky. Even avoiding the foods she normally LOVES, like fried chicken and pancakes. And I can't get her to eat a vegetable on her own to save my life. I buy those Gerber Graduates expensive microwavable meals because it's stews and stuff that have the veggies in them, and she seems to enjoy them that way. Whatever, as long as she gets a carrot or broccoli in her every now and again. Sometimes I make Chicken Noodle soup and put it in the food processor so she can't tell what she's eating. That seems to work too.
