I spent countless hours STRESSING and worrying and contemplating and discussing with my friend J all the little details of teh BIG 30th birthday party we were combining with Iceman and Matt. Since they were both turning 30 within 2 weeks of each other, we thought it would be fun. Let me tell you that it was the first and the LAST surprise birthday party I will ever coordinate. It was very difficult to pull off. We involved Iceman too. He thought he was helping to coordinate the party for Matt. His job was to get him out of the house and keep him busy while we set up. The twist was that he was helping to coordinate his own party as well. And it was a lot of fun once the party got started and the stress was over.
